Groton, NH Specimen Size: 3 mm crystal in albite vug Field Collected: Tom Mortimer - 8/19 Catalog No.: u2258 Notes: "C" axis termination points to 2 o'clock. Fluoresces pale orange-yellow. Apatite is uncommon at Charles Davis and is not listed for Charles Davis on mindat. I think this is first I have seen from there, (and not a particularly good one by NH standards). For those reasons, I thought worthy of a photo. |
